@MARIANA: Hi Mariana. Thank you for the visit and coment. The background is an aquatic plant. I´m note sure but I think that in Latin this plant ´s name is "spirodela sp."

I'm so glad Mariana asked what the green background was. The color is abslutely striking but I never would have guessed it was actually a plant. Wow! Love this with the bright green and the muted brown together!

A mistura de cores resultou bem, mas se a folha fosse naqueles tons laranjas ou vermelhos, que certas folhas tem, teria ficado espectacular. A texturas das algas valorizou e harmonizou toda a fotografia.
